Yes. When you create a sign up sheet, in the 'Finish Up' section, click 'Yes' at the prompt 'Are people signing up for specific items, activities or time slots?'. You can then enter either shift start times (e.g. 2:00 pm) or time spans (e.g. 2-3 pm) in the Description fields, along with the number of people needed for each shift or time span in the Number of helper fields. There is no limit to the number of time intervals you can include - just click on the Add Row link to create more.

Headings are only limited by your imagination and rows are unlimited - just click on the Row link to create more.
When a sign up sheet is created, the website will send a message to the email address provided. This message includes two web links, an admin link which can be used to manage your sign up sheet and a web link which is meant to be shared with event attenders. To fix or change your sign up sheet, click on the admin web link and an editable version of the sign up sheet will be displayed which can be used to change the sign up sheet. Once you are done making changes, scroll to the bottom of the sign up sheet and click on the Update button to save your changes and update your signup sheet.
Yes you can. Click on the admin web link and you will see a link at the top of the page to download your sign up sheet to CSV, an Excel compatible format. Click on the download link to view or save your sign up sheet details as an Excel file.
The website sends out a confirmation email to the email address provided immediately after the sign up sheet is created. If you do not receive the email after a few minutes, check your junk mail settings and any spam email folders for email from email@example.com. Adjust your settings to make sure this email is allowed by your email client software and service provider. You can always manage and retrieve all of your sign up sheet details at helpersignup.com when you sign up for a free account (www.helpersignup.com/signup).
Check to make sure that your event date and time are in the right format. If you are still experiencing difficulty, try picking the date from the pop-up calendar. Event times should be formatted as shown in the error message (e.g. 4:30 pm).
Yes. Simply share the admin web link used to manage the sheet with them and they will have full access to the sheet. Keep in mind that they can alter your sign up sheet or even delete it, so be careful about sharing access.
Just go to www.helpersignup.com/signup and follow the instructions. You'll be prompted for your email address and password. Once you finish, you will receive an activation email to confirm your account. Click on the Activate link and you are done.
When you are logged into your account, you can manage all of your sign up sheets on your home page. This includes any sign up sheets you may have created in the past. A lot better than searching through your emails and notes to find that sign up sheet from last year! Also, as long as you are logged in, your name and email address will be filled in automatically when you create new sign up sheets.
No worries - just click on the Log in link at the top of the page and then click on the Forgot Password link to reset your password. You will be prompted for your email address and then you will receive a link in your email that you can use to reset your password. Click on the link and follow the instructions.
No, you can create sign up sheets and sign up without an account. We want to provide features to make helpersignup.com as easy to use as possible but we never want those features getting in the way of our customers.
